Night Moves: Los Angeles Nightscapes

My Los Angeles Nightscapes series focuses on the City and the Valley at night, almost as
a voyeur, studying what makes the night move. I want to capture images that are unique to
the Los Angeles nocturne: the glowing freeways, the twinkling criss-cross street grids that
result from a spread out land, the exclusiveness of the Hollywood Hills. These are the token
scenes of the illuminated city, so famous for its golden sun, and maybe more infamous for its
nighttime thrills. This series offers both seclusion from, and participation in, what it is that
characterizes the Los Angeles night.
