This month welcomes the annual Palm Springs Modernism Week: a celebration of midcentury architecture, design, and culture February 12th-22nd. Activities include home and neighborhood architecture tours, art shows, cocktail parties, film premiers, as well as engaging talks and presentations.
I'm happy to announce that I'll be having one of those presentations. Please join me Wednesday, Feb 18th at 3pm when I'll be giving an enthusiastic, funny, and informative slide presentation about my artwork and its deep connection to midcentury Modernism. Hear stories about how I've navigated the art world and my approach to capturing the local architecture that inspires me. Best of all, tickets are FREE! Just RSVP to secure your spot.
My deep appreciation goes to the Palm Springs Preservation Foundation, who've invited me to be a speaker. They are a wonderful non-profit organization whose mission is βto educate and promote public awareness of the importance of preserving the historical resources and architecture of the city of Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley area." Become a member today and while you're at it, please check out the other insightful FREE presentations they'll be offering during Modernism Week.
